Gunman still on the run nearly a day after shooting near London nursery

A man in his 20s has been shot in north London with the gunman still on the loose.

♋Officers were called to Washbourne Road in Harlesden around 9.10pm last night after residents reported hearing gunfire.

🍃The man was rushed to hospital, where his injuries were confirmed to be non-life threatening.

The Metropolitan Police🌺 said: ‘Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 20s, with a gunshot injury.

‘He was taken to hospital for treatment – his condition is not life-threatening. A crime scene remains in place.

🐻‘There has been no arrest, and enquiries into the circumstances continue.’

💃The London Ambulance Service said: ‘We were called at 9.14pm yesterday to reports of a shooting incident in Washbourne Road, NW10.

ꦐ‘We sent resources to the scene, including ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response car and London’s Air Ambulance.

‘The first of our crews arrived in five minutes.

🎀‘Our crews treated a man at the scene, before taking him to a London major trauma centre by road.’
