The weather might be chilly, but Pringles is looking to turn up the heat in the New Year with their latest crisp launch.
ꦛThe iconic brand has just unveiled a brand new flavour for 2025, which is inspired by a popular American fast food item.
൩For those who love a bit of spice, you’ll be able to get your hands on Blazin’ Fried Chicken Pringles from January 1.
The spicy crisps are inspired by Nashville hot chicken🔯, which was voted as one of Pringles fans’ top meat style flavours to try.
In the UK, interest in chicken is soaring, with searches for Nashville-style chicken surging by a staggering 120% in the past 12 months. This comes after Nashville hot chicken chain Dave’s launched in the UK this month, opening its first restaurant in London.
The recent trend for spicy food also shows no signs of slowing down, with a 23% 🍨rise in demand for hot flavours. As such, Pringles has created Blazin’ Fried Chicken, which will be available in all major retailers in the UK and Ireland, priced at £2.50 for a 160g tube.
🅠The new flavour, which is non-HFSS, will join the Pringles Hot range which also includes Flamin’ Cheese, Mexican Chilli & Lime, Smokin’ BBQ Ribs, Kickin’ Sour Cream, and Sweet Chilli.
𒉰Seanáin McGuigan, Pringles Brand Manager UKI, said: ‘Hot and spicy foods have clearly been trending recently. We’ve listened to the demand and are excited to launch Blazin’ Fried Chicken to help satisfy those spicy cravings. What better time to bring the heat than in January? We’re confident that spice-seekers are going to love it.’
This comes hot off the heels of some sad snack news this week, asꦜ Terry’s confirmed it had axed a popular Christmas treat.

𝄹The iconic brand left fans feeling ‘very upset’ after revealing the white chocolate version of the chocolate orange ball wouldn’t be returning for Christmas 2024.
♛A Terry’s spokesperson said: ‘Terry’s has been creating delicious treats since 1823 and we’re proud of how popular our range has become at Christmas.
ౠ‘We’re continuing to evolve our Chocolate Ball range in line with changing consumer preferences, having recently also added both mint and plain milk chocolate variants. This means it won’t be a white Christmas as our White Chocolate Orange Ball is no longer available.
🌺‘We hope this changes in the future but for now we have lots of options for people to try including our Exploding Candy or Toffee Crunch Balls, so there’s still plenty to have a very Terry Christmas.’
