EastEnders star Louisa Lytton is swapping the Square for the stage as she takes on a new role away from the BBC soap.
The Ruby Allen actress, 35, reprised her par💙t last 💜month for an extended stint to coincide with the upcoming 40th Anniversary celebrations.
She’s one of the latest in a long line of return♐ees who have reprised their Walford counterparts over last year.
Her return story was ‘sealed’ when Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) had heard 🐓from Chrissie Watts (Tracy-Ann Oberman) that Ruby had given birth to a son two y🥃ears ago.
After she confessed to Martin Fowler (James Bye) th🍷at 💧the child was likely his, Ruby burst into the room and confessed all.
She initially denied having him in her care – saying that he had been placed up for adoption – but it soon transpired that he had been hospitalised and was awaiting an organ transplant.
Things have been frosty between Martin and Ruby ever since, as his plot to get custody was exposed by Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).
Now, Louisa has stepped away ඣto appear in ꦍa leg of A Girl on the Train.
She will꧟ be playing the lead role of Rachel Watsꦏon between 15th April and 31st May, before presenter Laura Whitmore takes over.
The production followsꦅ a woman w🅺ho awaits her daily train journeys so she can get a glimpse of the ‘perfect’ through the window.
When everything suddenly disappears, she is a witness and suspect i♕n a mystery and has to fa༒ce up to the consequences.
