A scene more fitting for a documentary narrated by David Attenborough played out just meters from beachgoers in Australia.
Two women filmed a shark tearing into the lifeless body of a crocodile on the shoreline of Nhulunbuy, a remote town on the Gove Peninsula iꦿn the Northern Territory.
The crocodile was seen lying belly-up before the predator wriggled its way out of the waterও.
Footage showed the power of the shark as it clutched its jaws around the carcass 💜of the sizable reptile.
Within mo🍃ments, the crocodile’s head is snapped off as the shark enjoyed its meal.
Eventually,🗹 both disappear beneath the surface of the water as the waves continued to churn.
Alice Bedwell recorded the wildlife encounter, which has since gone viral ღon social media.
Reposting the graphic scene on Instagram’s page ‘Amazing Sharks’, a user wrote: ‘Bull shark feed on crocodile cꦜar꧅cass in a beach at Nhulunbuy, Australia.’

Ano⛄ther suggested that beachgoers should have tried to rescue the reptile, even though it was already dead.
Nhulunbuy, in the the Arnhem Land region, is the fourth-largest town in the Northern Territory with a populatiꦜon of 3,267.
It is notౠ an unco♎mmon sight to see crocodiles and sharks mingling as they share a lot of the same diet.
