Vladimir Putin has promised ‘further destruction’ of Ukraine after a Russian oil field was destroyed by a ‘massive’ drone strike overnight.
Video footage of the strike shows the oil field erupting in an enormous explosion after the drone attack, lighting up the sky with apocalyptic yellow and orange as Russian air defences seek to def🍷end the strategic depot.
The Steel Horse facility supplies Vladimir Putin’s armed forc🅰es in Ukraine, and links to the Druzhba pipeline which sends Russian oil to Europe.
It was reported ablaze after a concerted attack with Russia claimജing to h🍸ave shot down 20 drones over the Oryol region, where the depot is located.
The giant oil depot has been targeted at least three times previously, including a successful strike one week ago which saw a fire burn for severa♊l💎 days.
Separate Ukrainian strikes recently have homed in on supplꩲy bases for the Druzhba pipeline which is key to oil supplies for Hungary and Slovakia, both of which have opposed military aid and NATO membership for Ukraine.
The Governor of Oryol region Andrey Klychkov last night spoke of a ‘massive enemy UAV attacꦕk’, urging people to ‘please remain calm’.
He said: ‘The attack is still ongoing.
‘There is currently no information on casualties or injuries. Emergency sꦫervices are already on-site and are taking measures to extinguish the fire.’
He later posted an update claiming the f🌸ire had been extinguishedᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ and that there had been no casualties in the strike.

The Russian defence ministry said: ‘Last night an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using unma🀅nned aerial vehicles against targets on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped.’
In a televised address on Sunday, Putin vowed further ‘destruction’ in response to 🌱the attack.
The Russian president said: ‘Whoever, and however much they try to d🤪estroy, they will face many times more destruction themselves and will regret what they are trying to do in our country.’
Some 34 drones were allegedly hal🍃ted over the Moscow region.
